mini donut free crochet pattern

donut or doughnut, that is the question. i personally like donut cos it's cuter and shorter (don't come for me)

materials and tools:

• 3, 3.5, 4 mm hooks (the bigger your hook the bigger the sea turtle)
• milk cotton yarn (one for the shell, one for the head and limbs)
• sewing needle
• dacron for stuffing
• 8mm eyes
• stitch marker
• scissors
• keychain
  

abbreviations:

SC: single crochet
INC: increase (2 SC in 1 stitch)
DEC: decrease
MR: magic ring

R: round

SS: slip stitch

HDC: half double crochet

CH: chain

(x): total stitches

dough part with brown yarn, repeat with the flavor:

make a slip knot and 16 CH, join the ends and make a ring with 1 SC

R1: 5 (2 SC, INC) (20)

R2: 5 (3 SC, INC) (25)

R3: 5 (4 SC, INC) (30)

R4: 5 (5 SC, INC) (35)

R5-6: 35 SC (35)

slip stitch to the next stitch and hide the tail.

make another one for the icing, but leave a long tail for sewing them together.

assembling:

join the 2 sides, inner circle first, then continue with the outside.

gradually stuff it.

close it off and sew the keychain.

you can add some sprinkles too
