mini ice cream free crochet pattern

gelato or ice cream, which would you pick?

this is a super easy ice cream cone crochet pattern with no sewing required yay!

(i personally hate sewing that much which is why i made this pattern lol)

materials and tools:

• 3, 3.5, 4 mm hooks (the bigger your hook the bigger the sea turtle)
• milk cotton yarn (one for the shell, one for the head and limbs)
• sewing needle
• dacron for stuffing
• 8mm eyes
• stitch marker
• scissors
• keychain
  

abbreviations:

SC: single crochet
INC: increase (2 SC in 1 stitch)
DEC: decrease
MR: magic ring

R: round

SS: slip stitch

HDC: half double crochet

CH: chain

(x): total stitches

we'll start from the cone:

R1: 6 SC in MR (6)
R2: 3 (SC, INC) (9)

R3: 9 SC (9)

R4: 3 (2 SC, INC) (12)

R5: 12 SC (12)

R6: 3 (3 SC, INC) (15)

R7-9: 15 SC (15)

ice cream part:

change the yarn color to your ice cream flavor

R10: 3 (4 SC, INC) (18)

R11: (back loop only) 18 SC (18)

R12-14: 18 SC (18)

R15: 6 (SC, DEC) (12)

R16: 6 DEC (6)

stuff it and sew it off

ice cream sides:

attach the yarn to the first front loop of R11. make 1 CH and 1 SC to secure it.
continue making 4 SC in the same stitch, and SS in the next stitch

repeat 5 SC in the next stitch with SS in the next one until all the loops are done.

you can add the sprinkles too :)
